Since 1973, Sepro has grown continuously and over the years has become one of the major players on the Plastics Automation market.

1973 :
Paul RADAT founds SEPRO Engineering (Société d'Etude de nouveaux PROduits) whose activity is the automation of sheet metal processing. SEPRO produces its 1st manipulator for Injection Moulding Machine.


1982 : SEPRO presents its 1st CNC robot for the unloading of Injection Moulding Machines.

1985 : SEPRO makes its first robots sales in the USA by way of the company CONAIR, 1st distributor of peripheral equipment on the North-American territory.

1990 : SEPRO becomes SEPRO Robotique.Creation of European subsidiaries :
Sepro Germany.
Sepro United-Kingdom.
Sepro Spain.

SEPRO Robotique extends its distribution network to Scandinavia, Benelux and Portugal.
To offer a complete range to its customers, SEPRO Robotique integrates sprue-pickers into its offer.

1994: SEPRO Robotique launches the Range 3000 at EUROPLAST and then at K'95.

1997 : Some important sales are made in Eastern Europe and Brazil.
SEPRO Robotique also lays solid basis in Asia (South-Eastern Asia and China).

1999 : SEPRO inaugurates its new factory.


2000 : Launching of the offer " High Speed by Sepro ", for Packaging:
High speed cartesian robot PIP 3020 HP
Side-entry robot PIP 3440

2001 : First successes of SEPRO Robotique in the High Speed Packaging market.SEPRO Robotique presents as a preview at K'2001 the first models of its new generation of robots : Generation IV.

2002 : Official launching of the Generation IV.

2003 : SEPRO Robotique presents the new robot Axess at Fakuma 2003. The small 3 CNC axes robot with Servomotors dedicated to pick and place applications on small IMM from 20 to 180 T. SEPRO Robotique continues the development of the Generation IV and launches on the market the SR 4040 model.

2004 : SEPRO inaugurates its new Service Center of Barcelona.
This Service Center adds to the already existing ones :
- La Roche (France - Western area)
- Groissiat (France - Rhône-Alpes area)
- Mitry Mory (France - Paris area)
 - Madrid (Spain)
- Milton Keynes (UK)
- Rodgau (Germany)

SEPRO was given on April 22nd of 2004 : The "VISTEON Important Partner Award" in Cologne.
SEPRO has been selected , as the Visteon Important Partner for the European Non-Production Commodity Group, for the year 2003.

 

2005 : SEPRO takes part in numerous exhibitions worldwide.
SEPRO keeps building its Generation IV robot range with the SR 4050 for IMMs from 600 to 1500 T.
SEPRO brings out a new innovation : the CNC vacuum switch, to program and save part gripping settings from the Visual Sepro electronic control unit.

SEPRO keeps developing its range of economical 3 CNC axis robots, designed for simple pick & place applications on IMMs from 20 to 600 T : The AXESS Range. The new models Axess 20 and Axess 30 were presented as a preview on the various exhibitions in which Sepro took part in 2005.

 

2006 : SEPRO launches the new offer SEPRO / STAÜBLI in co-operation with the worldwide reknown robot manufacturer.

SEPRO increases its worldwide presence with new partners in Italy, Austria/Hungary, Russia and Tunisia.

 

2007 : SEPRO and CONAIR create their joint venture, SEPRO AMERICA LLC, in order to improve even further their service to their customers in the United States and Canada.
